    Hi Corella,

If it's not an underlining symptom of what your waiting to see the doctor about...otherwise i agree with steve these flu shots make you bad, it did me and my breathing was terrible, i past the virus off the jab to my hubby and when it passed back to me christ i did feel ill. Every year i always say never again but the doctor's soon got the needle in me because of my lungs.

Rest up corella and just try and take it easy and try and take deep breaths to help.

Do any of you ever feel as though you are getting a cold but it never comes out? I never ever get colds - well I used to but in the past couple of years since my other symptoms surfaced, I dont get colds. But sometimes I feel as though I am about to get one but it never comes out.

    Very strange.

Oh how I wish my appointment could be brought forward so if I get this new job, I dont have to think about it.

I had my job interview today, I 'think' it went well, I liked them and felt alive being back in the city instead of a dirty dusty industrial estate. I should find out next week I think but they have others to interview.

I wont say anything if I get as far as the medical as I havent got a diagnosis but I am worried about starting a new job if I am later diagnosed with Lupus, although I know for sure my current job is making me ill due to the poor environment. Daft though it sounds, I am scared of becoming sick in a new job or something like losing my hair which terrifies me, so far its like a toilet brush - so thick it needs cutting all the time.

But I have decided it is a vicious circle, if I stay in the job I will become more sick, so if I move to the city at least I will be able to catch up with friends and have more mental stimulation and more money.

Pain has been quite bad though, the pharmacist told me that restavit is addictive, codeine is addictive, anything that is any good is addictive, and suggested panadol which dont touch my pain and I cant take NSAIDs. So I shall stick with mersyndol for the moment, 2 tabs a day - or 4 at max - am and pm.

I am having this most unusual but excruciating pain in my feet - on the sides and the top, dont know what that is about, I went for a 6km walk the other day which made it worse but made me realise I need to exercise more - not excessive but I need to do it.

Another thing that is odd, and that is I NEVER get colds, even when my office is snotting and sneezing, I get as far as feeling as though I will get a cold but I never do - do any of you feel like that? the last time I had a cold was 3 years ago.

I am back at college on Wed, so I know I will be tired, and I really hope I get this job, it will be a new start and nice to be able to catch up with my friends in the city as i am a bit isolated now and when I am on my own I tend to ponder and worry about stuff and it was nice to be part of society again today at the interview.

Oh yes, I am having a 'oh my god I am scared of the diagnosis' stage again today, I know within myself that I think it is Lupus, seriously it is a gut feeling that something is wrong - I am sure you have all had it, I suppose seeing the specialist will make it seem more clear.

    How have you all been?

I never knew that Restivit was addictive. I only use about 1/2 or 1/4 a tablet once a fortnight if I have had quite a few bad nights in a row. Did I tell you before that you can have Panadol Osteo, it is stronger than Panadol and is slow release so it lasts longer. Be careful about taking too much Neurofen because it can eventually lead to kidney issues. Where in the city is the job? West, North, Central? You must like all the sales when they come, well I am thinking you might not like the job after all because you will be spending all your money!

Yep the chemist told me Restavit is habit forming. I cant take neurofen or any non steroidals.

The job is in Hay Street in the City, just past Melbourne Hotel, it is a lovely office, I hope they liked me - I like them and could see myself working there.

Linda, we should see if we can meet up one day for coffee?

I think we should form a gang when I see the specialist, you can all sit in the waiting room with flags and banners for when I come out of the doctors room and you can cheer and clap - (can you imagine that!)
