Default ?? wierd honeycomd looking rash on calves

I've been getting this rash on my calves for several months now .
Its been worse than what is in this picture. Today my left leg looks red, blue
and brownish rash. It gets worse in the heat and really bad in the shower. I'm also
headachy and dizzy today. Has anyone ever had this or know what it is ?
    Thanks

Your legs look EXACTLY like mine! I was told by my doctor that it is Vasculitis. He said it as he kind of dismissed it because we were dealing with the seizure issues that day. I am going back the first of next week and I am going to speak to him about these, issues with fingers and toes and lung issues. Will tell you what I find out!

Thank you so much ! I've been going nuts not knowing what it could be. My grandmother also had lupus but I don't remember seeing this kind of rash on her. When I was in the hospital last Saturday my doctor said that there was some weird highs and lows in my blood work but he didn't talk to me about it. Probably because a friend of mine was visiting me at the time. I did have a CBC test done last Jan. and it showed a high red cell count but the PA I saw didn't catch on to it at the time. I saw it in the paper work later on.
Dealing with a new lupus diagnoses and a MS relapse a the same time is exshausting and so hard.

i also have a similar rash.
it is effected by heat, and a warm shower.
i cannot thermo regulate my body properly.
the rash is extremely itchy, and rubbing it make things worse.
i use "kenacomb" if this works the rash is fungal based.

    talk to your doctor.

Frick, Frac, Fro! I just wrote a reply and I think my stupid fingers that have a mind of their own hit a wrong button!

    Short version goes as follows:

Hey Steve that is great info! Mine currently don't inch or have any feeling. It is (I know this sounds strange) but "UNDER" the skin. I love the tip on what to use for other rashes though. We are really lucky to have you with us!

mostly after a warm shower or bath, My body dosent thermo regulate either, i also now
after a year later have the rash on the under sides of my arms from my elbow's to my wrist.
Mine dosent itch or burn or hurt. But a hot bath will make it surley pop out very bady and look
just like your's , dr's never said exactly whitch disease was causeing it.
Ialso have dizziness and headaches, But i have cns vasculitis and i guess reg vasculitis
also i was also breakeing out in hives often till i got put on the predinsone.
Let us know what the dr. say's, I will ask my reummy specialist when i go to my next
visit on march 31st and see what he say's about mine.
    Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Diane~

I used to get these rashes on my legs, arms and sometimes on my trunk. I haven't had one since I've been taking Plaquenil and MTX.
