Hi everyone! This is my first time on a site like this. I am excited to talk to people that struggle with similar issues!

Hi Lablover! Welcome to WHL. I can already tell by your name that we will get along well because I too am an animal lover. I am really glad that you found us. It is is often times hard to deal in a world that doesn't understand us because we "don't look sick" to them. WHL is a wonderful place full of great people that will support, accept, listen and just be a shoulder if you need it. Please feel free to look through the old threads because there is so much useful information there. You are also welcome to start new ones if you want to do that.

I look forward to getting to know you and, once again, welcome to the family!
    Mari

    Hello Lablover-
You have found a haven that is the only way to put it. The people here are angels, they will give you advice, or just say hey I get it. The ability to do the same for others with things you might have more information on also makes you feel kind of empowered. You feel like there are others who not only care for your woes, but appreciate your thoughts on theirs. I too am a huge animal lover, and have had 3 labs. Now I have a tiny little yorkie, and today my momma goat gave birth to twins.

Wow! This sounds like just what I needed. When you don't have a cast or an open wound, people just don't know how we feel. I am so excited to get to know you all and get some answers to questions! Thanks! By the way...what color are your labs?
