I have SCLE Lupus and Discoid Lupus. Discoid rashes can look very different on different people but they are common on places that are exposed to sunlight (including the scalp). They tend to be raised, scaly but seldom itch. Discoid Lupus rashes may even leave a scar or change the color of the skin once they are gone. Cutaneous Lupus rashes, on the other hand, are also coin shaped and very photosensitive but seldom to they leave a scar once they are gone. I don't know if you have been in the sun or in a store with florescent lighting but skin begins to itch when the light is getting to it. The rash will soon follow if I do not have sunscreen on. Below is a google link pictures of some different kinds of "lupus rashes". There are as many of them as there are of us but it will give you an idea.
Next are photos of "discoid rashes"

One of the other things that I get often are boils They are very painful and they have holes in the center. They often get really large and I have to keep medicine to put on them in order to get them to go away.
Not sure if any of this helps you but it is the best I can do.
