do your feet just hurt but it does not hurt to just touch them or rub them but it hurts like heck to walk? I had this problem, still do, and it is my understanding that it gets into neurology that causes the pain. My rheumy recomended a dietary supplement, lipoic acid, buy over the counter, it does wonders for me and not adding another prescription. The prednisone never did anything for this pain for me. I believe there is a name for this however I could not begin to remember what it is. (you know you have brain fog when). Best of luck and Merry Christmas.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort wich we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3

If the pain is caused by inflammation, an NSAID like Naproxen Sodium (Aleve) could help. If it's a neurological problem like peripheral neuropathy, there are meds your Dr. or specialist could prescribe such as a beta-blocker that can help. Just from your brief description I couldn't say for sure, but it sounds like some of the pain I get in my extremities which is neurological. Talk to your Doc, see what he/she thinks.

Hurts to stand, to touch to move my toes. I see the doc soon, then probably onto a specialist as usual
thanks for your input, scubgr sorry brain fog, I even went nback to look again. I am really bad today .
And Rob I tend to think you may be right, anti inflamatories aren't working. I really can't think.
    Need to sleep probably
    I am so done.

Oh Nonna I hope you find some help soon! I know what you are going through although mine isn't in my toes it is in my head. I was back in the ER last night and pain meds just don't help. I hope you find some peace and get painfree soon. I will be thinking of you

The doc thinks it's a nerve tumor and sent me off to a podiatrist. Now I have to make another appointment atleast she gave me some pain meds. I needed today though. I've been pushing myself to hard lately. Today was proof, couldn't walk, talk or think straight.

I need a stress free vacation come on Christmas Eve I'm ready.

    Default is it...

did it start with pain in your heels? like when you walk, did you try to walk mostly on the balls of your feet? when you lay down, does it hurt for your feet to touch the mattress, sheets, anything? also, i would like to know how much prednisone you are currently on.
maybe i can help, with some clarification from you.
