    Default Bump/Knot on scalp?

Hi all. Just wondering if any of you lupies out there have had bumps/knots on your scalp? I can feel it its like a hard knot that the skin can move over but when I try to look or have someone else look at it we cant see anything.(Haven't had a doctor look at it yet, trying to find a Dermatologist to see)Its been there well over 6 months and it hasn't changed in size etc but sometimes its more tender than others. I didn't bump my head or anything obviously and there's no hair loss where I have the bump. Im just not sure what to make of it. Does anyone else have anything similar? What could it be? Thanks. -Lupie Britt

I don't have the bumps but I itch like crazy! I'm blaming mine on some new pain meds. Definitely find a doctor and see what he/she has to say. These syndroms have so many weird symptoms that it's impossible to say what is causing what. Keep us posted!

My hubby has a subaceous (sp?) cyst on his scalp that is hard, and moves freely. He had it checked by a dr when he was a kid, and it was fine - they would remove it if it was a bother (if it was being rubbed by a cap or something) but it never worried him, so he has it still. But it's very clearly visible once you get past the hair.

Interested to hear what the dr has to say about it BTW, hubby has no auto-immune or other health issues.
