    Default Happy Labor Day!

Just wanted to say Happy Labor Day to everyone. Got any special plans for today? We are going over to our pastor's for a small barbecue & swimming. Hope everyone has a fantastic, pain free day! (((HUGS)))

Happy Labor Day to all. We are not doing anything special i cannot get all my kids and their father in the same room because of their negative feelings to each other. ( their father is not angry with the kids just my on son-in-law.) So i am making a pot of homemade chicken corn noodle soup with fresh corn on the cob in it and i just took down 4 loads of laundry that i hung outside. I love the smell of clean fresh wash after it drys out doors. Now i have to rest and take my pain meds but it is still a beautifull day. Bonita

    Happy Labor Day to all,
We're having a quiet day today - Jeff is studying and I'm cooking and doing laundry.
We had our fun yesterday. We explored a quaint little shopping area in Carmel called The Barnyard and spotted a few restaurants there that we're going to have to try.
Then we went to the Monterey wharf and enjoyed the Greek Festival. There is obviously a thriving Greek community here on the Monterey Bay. It was the biggest Greek Festival that I've ever attended. We checked out the vendors' booths and found quite a few things that we had seen in Greece. We bought some wonderful Greek coffee and food and topped it all off with some Orzo, while enjoying the entertainment of Greek singing and dancing. It all brought back some lovely memories for us.
I will look forward to attending each year that we live here.
    Have a good day!
    Hugs,
    Marla
