OK, I've always been pretty good about getting to sleep. Able to do a quiet meditation, or have a glass of hot milk and then drift off. If I woke up in the middle of the night, I'd get a glass of water, maybe visit the bathroom and then back to bed to sleep.

Last couple weeks I've been alternating between a week where I sleep well, then a week where I'm up every night. Hot flashes wake me, drenched in sweat, then I can't get back to sleep. Hot milk isn't cutting it, nor are any of the usual tricks. Exhausted during the day because of it on those bad weeks.

Thoughts? What else can I try? I've got a reumy visit already scheduled in about 3 weeks, but she's always saying the hot flashes are not lupus. I haven't talked with her about the sleep issues - they had NOT been an issue before this.
