Anyone have this? I am still in the process of being diagnosed but just today i have noticed my hands are dry and my elbows are flaky and itchy. I have never had this problem before...

Sometimes, with one auto-immune disorder, we develop others. There are some AI skin disorders that co-exist with other AI diseases. Mention your skin issues to your doctor to make sure that it is not an overlapping issue.

I have dry skin alllll the time and my daughters hands are like elephant skin...part of the Lup!!I try to grease-up at bedtime so it stays on for a long time.

If the dry skin is not from the Lupus ...what is it?? These MD's kill me...if it isn't in their pre-fabbed list they learned in medical school..it "can't be"...I just have to laugh. I never had skin like this before..nor my daughter...how do you explain...and P.S. my rheumy said it is from the Lup. It can effect every organ...skin is the largest organ of the body.yes..it's an organ.Follow your instincts when it comes to this disease...we are usually right.
