Default the meth bottle is in front of me...

and I'm trying to get up the nerve to take it. Doc has me starting on 10 mg (4x2.5) tabs for two weeks, then cranking up to 15. I've had it for more than a week, but didn't want to take while i was traveling for work. So, my excuses are done now...here goes!

    wish me luck...

    PS: i'm a 45 yo M w/type 1.5 diabetes and some other autoimmune crap.

    Hey Widebody,
MTX isn't too awful, and we are all here to help you through M day. I hope that you are feeling better today and that it helps you in the long run.
    Hugs,

I was scared to take this drug also. But i am on it now for over 2 months at 20mg and it really does have benifits in helping my joints and the pain and swelling. I really do not like taking any of these meds but we have to trust the docs and God because we were given these dieases and have to live with them. Hope that you will do okay on this med. He also gave me a pill to take 12 hours after the meth so it helps with the nausea. Love and prayers Bonita

    thanks for the support, everybody!
took the meth monday night, had NO nausea yesterday, just kinda tired.
last nite was rough though -- just a lot of pain, took some prescrip painkillers that made me kinda loopy and didn't really work that well. So I'm staying home today, chillin on the couch.
