    Default Not Feeling Well All Week

    Hi everybody. I have not been feeling well all week. Dragged myself to the chiropractor for X-rays and a spinal exam. Found out that my neck has a few vertebraes out of alignment and my hips are slightly rotated. I have a couple of degenerated discs in the base of the neck area that really hurt. The pain in the neck is being caused by old injuries, the chiropractor believes. At the moment, I am trying to find out if my former Worker's Comp. lawyer can get treatment for me, as I believe I have lifetime medical on one of my slip and fall claims.

    Compound this with the stomach cramps that I have been having. I stopped taking the Ibuprofen I was prescribed for inflammation and the stomach cramps went away. The chiropractor told me to take lemongrass tea for the inflammation in the neck area. Don't know if it was a virus or a side effect of the ibuprofen, the cramps and diarrehea. Haven't had a chance to research the side effects of ibuprofen on the computer yet.

    Seems like it is always something to keep you hopping. Been having car trouble too. Got a tune-up and a cracked serpentine belt replaced. Next on the list is a new fuel filter. I can't believe, my car has close to 100,000 miles on it. It does have a practically brand new transmission. I had that replaced a little over a year ago. That will set you back a few thousand dollars.

    My sweetie is looking into taking a computer technician class in the future. The one he wants to take costs of $4,000. So he is trying to find one more reasonable. First though, he has to have his other hand operated on. As many of you know he has carpal tunnel real bad from welding for so many years.

    Hey DOW...so sorry you're having a bad time. Sometimes when it rains it pours, huh. Here's a link about the ibuprofen... http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dru...N=side-effects

    My GI tract will tolerate a little of it and no more than that once in a blue moon and that's it. The only way to tell what was causing it is to try the ibuprofen again...if you really want to know.

    Then again, there could be something going on and the ibuprofen is just aggravating it.

    Hi DrinkofWater;
    I am so sorry to hear that you are dealing with so much and that you week has been so stressful. Has the Lemongrass tea been helping you at all? I have a friend who swears by it.
    How is your workmen's comp claim coming. I hope that you are able to get approved and that you get lifetime medical for it!!
    I am sending you hugs to comfort you and to let you know that I am thinking of you!

    Peace and Blessings
    Namaste

    ugh. sick stinks! I hope you are feeling better. I hear that raspberry tea is also good for stomach cramps/aches.
    As long as this body works, I am going to enjoy life to the fullest for each second of every moment that I can.
