    Default Lupaversery!

    soo im kind of upset because i haven't been able to get on here in a while!
    but i've been so preoccupied with my schools musical! so much fun, but soo much hard work! but it'll be worth it in the end!

    i just wanted to sayy that on January 12th...it was on my one year ''lupaversery''
    everyone looked at me like i was crazy, asking 'whats there to celebrate?''
    but i look at, how far i've come in a year. i've made such BIG improvements since last year, so i feel that is a HUGE thing to celebrate

    i can't believe its already been a year!

    Ashley;
    Yes you have come a long way. I remember when you first joined our group and how you were affected by your diagnosis. So, I am right there with you wishing you a happy Lupaversary! You've overcome much, learned a lot, and made decisions about your health and your life! Many congratulations

    Peace and Blessings

    Atta girl, Ashley!
    Keep up the good attitude and keep participating in school the way that you are. I think that you will be a success in life, despite the Lupus. A good attitude will help you so much. Who knows? You're so young, medicine may have defeated Lupus by the time you're my age.

    I thought I was the only one who "celebrated" the one year lupaversary. Like you, I was happy (or maybe relieved) to know why I had all of the symptoms that I did and it wasn't all in my head.

    So glad you're staying optimistic and keeping busy. Take good care of yourself and good luck with the musical-I'm sure you'll be fabulous!

    I am happy that you have celebrated a 'lupeversary'. I was really young when I was diagnosed, and don't know the exact date. You must have come a very long way to be happy to see how far you've come. Congrats on making your first year, and don't forget to celebrate again, and remember every obsticle that was in your way. It makes the celebration much more exciting. Thanks for posting this. I'm excited for you! lol.

    Ashley,

    You have indeed come far in this past year. And since when is it a bad thing to celebrate something rather than sitting around angry and bitter all the time? Those who look at you like you are crazy, should instead, follow your example.

    I say good for you!

    Rob
