    Default Nausea

Do any of you have persistent nausea? Not to be confused with stomache cramps, just nausea as in the 'I'm not sure if I'm going to puke or not' nausea that isn't medication related? My Rheumatologist seemed concerned about this and I have a sonogram scheduled for next week to have my pancreas and gallbladder checked but she also recommended a gastro specialist. Antacids are not working for me so we don't think its reflux

I haven't gotten the blood tests back yet... still waiting

hi justomegirlindallas, i am glad that you are getting these tests done. The results might come back as "it must be your lupus" (words we all hate to hear), but at least you will know to put the nausea into the lupus column of life. it is unnerving when a drs. want us to see a specialist or get some tests, but this is the only way that we get any peace of mind. Each test gives us more information when we are working with drs. What a miserable feeling that you deal with each day. Have you found anything that you can safely eat? I hope the drs. can find something that will help you.
