Mine snap, crackle, and pop all the time. My neck seems to be the worst. Knuckles of both hands are bad too. No fun.

ME TOO ROB! Im always making noises from the slightest movements! MY NECK is really bad as well!

AWWWWW, ANNA, does Advil help you at all? SOmetimes it DOES help me, BUT ,if its really BAD it wont. THATS when you start reading your erotic love story book to help you forget about the discomfort! Im so SORRY for your pain, I KNOW it can get pretty BAD at times. IM SENDING YOU A BIG (BUT GENTLE) HUG Ill bust out my "arthritis go away" dance too!

Reading erotic love book - you know, thats a great idea! I've been doing fairly well until very recently but I am chucking it up to stopping plaquenil temporarily due to stomache problems. Guess I didn't realize how much plaquenil was actually helping. I haven't felt this horrible in a long time. I have to stay away from nsaids to let my stomache recover but I was given some kind of antinausea medicine today along with a drug I've never taken before: Tramadol for the mornings (which are the hardest) I haven't tried the tramadol yet - will in the morning. Don't get to see my rheumatologist until December so this is kinda like a hold over until she's available. Her office offered an alternative but I don't trust most doctors at all so I'll suck it up (as best as I can)

AWWWWW,that sounds so SAD! To suck it up till dec! POOR THING!

Hey, try FRESH pineapple as well!!!!! IT HELPS more than you would think! BUT, it HAS to be fresh to work! Also ask your dr when you go in about HONEYBEE VENOM which is administered by injection. Its NATURAL which is GREAT BUT, since drs are ALWAYS pushing LAB MEDS, he might not even consider it. JERKS! Look for an ALTERNATIVE medicine dr in you area if he gives you crap. I honestly am going the NATURAL route as long as i can, my dr wants to put me on Plaquenil BUT my hubby and i REALLY DONT WANT to if i can AVOID it. I also go back to my rheumy in Dec to talk more about it. Ive had TOO MANY SIDE EFFECTS from LAB MEDS for other symptoms ,SO, I STOPPED them, my specialists were Pissed. BUT, hey, screw them, they are just mad im not HELPING to line their pockets some more from the meds they get $ for pushing!

Did you know that milk, dairy products and red meat CAN MAKE Arthritis WORSE as well? SO STAY AWAY from those things.

Thanks for ther esponse - I've pretty much tried all of the natural routes when trying to avoid prednisone - I can't take prednisone because I'm a cardiac patient and recently had cardiac surgery. My natural stuff is Yoga. I agree with you though that many commercial meds just screw ya up more than you alredy are.

Health industry doesn't make money curing us after all - right?
