You know you have brainfog when you pull up to the first window at the drive-thru to pay for your quarter pounder with cheese, and then forget to stop at the second window to pick it up.

And then, you really know you have brainfog when you make it all the way home before you start wondering what the hell happened to your quarter pounder with cheese.

And then, the ultimate brainfog is when you forget about being hungry and even going to Mickey D's in the first place!

OMG that is a good one, THAT has never happened to me, YET.
I can see the face of the person in the second window. That is to funny.

I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).

You know you have brain fog when you spend 10 min trying to hook the computer to the cord and seeing your frustration your teenage daughter walks up and quietly says as she points to the hole in the back of the computer, "hey mom? That hole is square and the plug in your hand is round.". You know that it is MORE THEN brain fog when you look back and forth between the two and can't tell a difference! (the next morning one looked square and one round but that night... nope! The sparks shooting out at me wasn't a give-a-way either!) LOL

OMG! This has just brought me to tears laughing! I thought I just got distracted easily (which I'm still not counting out) but maybe I have a bit of brain fog too!

I'm always going into a room and forgetting why I was going there in the first place... Wash my hair and about to get out then remember that I haven't soaped myself off yet...

Glad I can blame my 'blond moments' on my Lupus now (why not add it to the list)! hahah!

Thank for the laughs. I have done so many stupid things. Have put the coffee in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard. Putting the washing machine on and not putting the washing liquid in and even not putting the washing in. Have to laugh at myself. Although some days i do cry. I can relate to so many of these stories. If nothing else reading other peoples makes me feel so much better to realize that you are not alone in the daft things i do when i remember to do things. Keep posting these stories. Reading them makes me feel a little more normal. Thats if i remember to come back. lol

You really can blame it on the Lupus! Brain fog is one of the real symptoms. Mine goes beyond brain fog because I have neurological damage but even those that don't get the fog. It is part of the disease. So sit back and enjoy the stupid moments now that you have a real excuse for it!
