    Default itchy tounge

ok I have a problem and was wondering if anyone every had this problem before...since last night my tounge has been itching and it is driving me crazy... At first I thought that it was something that I had eaten, maybe I was alergic(sp) to but when went over what I ate could not find anything... Had hubby look at it he just says it's red... I don't have a normal tounge as it, but still if this keeps up I am going to have to call my doctor hubby says give it a couple of days and see if it goes away....

hope someone can help with ideas...
