Default Question about inflamation of nerves?

    Hi,

I am about to get an injection for my occipital nerve today- it is inflamed; Along with my sciatic nerve, which they are considering an epidural. I also have an inflammation of my Sacroiliac Joint. Does inflammation of nerves anything to with a Rheumatological disorder? My pain specialist is going to tell my Rheumatologist this is a problem. I am so confused!!! STILL!!!

Oh and let me also remind everyone; I have posted before. My doctor said she would not diagnose me with Lupus yet- it can cause problems getting insurance and life insurance. I am just confused I am sent to a pain specialist to help me but he still thinks it is a rhumatelogical thing... AHHHH!

yes, if you want life insurance, get it now, before you get a diagnosis. After my diagnosis, i checked and was told no way that i would be able to increase my life insurance, get cancer insurance, or anything other than the medical insurance that i presently have....thank goodness.

so, your dr. was right.....get your ducks in a row before pushing for a diagnosis.

    share a smile today,

How frustrating :!: It sounds like two forces working against each other and not with each other :? You need their help right now and they seem to be sending you back and forth........NOT FAIR :!: Hang in there and I am sending you gentle hugs and thoughts of a pain free night Keep us posted on how you are doing and what the doctors say!
