I'm taking Alesse, it's supposed to be very mild.

As the pill always tended to make queazy, she suggest that I take two of those at night so I can sleep through the worst of it. I am to take two pills at a time untill things settle down, then I can drop it to one pill a day.

I'm already taking both my plaquenil pills just before bed for the same reason....that's a lot of queazy meds to be taking together, but doc says it's okay and to let her know right away if it's a problem.

I would appreciate knowing what your gynecologist has to say. It may be awhile before I get near one.

Seems like you have to bribe someone around here to get in to see a "specialist".

I completely understand about the upset stomach! I have to take mine at night for the same reason :? I was on plaquenil for quite sometime and developed some skin problems with it. I have been thinking of giving it a second try but I don't know, we will see. Lets get this under control first :!: I will let you know as soon as I get back from the doctor. I ended up having to go on another anti inflamatory for three days to see if that would help the swelling and relieve some of the pain  I understand you can not go another one because you are already on one.............I am sorry and I hope you have a bit of relief tonight. I am sending you sweet thoughts and get well wished

    Hummm SITC...

Heavy bleeding from my reads during peri-menopause is common, as well as not having a menses or even light ones. Sounds like an awful lot of bleeding and pain for it to be just peri-menopause.

But pain, with profuse bleeding, I would press harder for the GYN referral if you are post-menopause. Maybe need a biopsy like I had done, to ensure it is just heavy bleeding. Maybe a D&C is needed....

Doctors? always worrying about is treating "their" patient. My PCP and Rheumba both asked me why is he, the other, treating this and that.

    Wish you well....TGIF, yah!

    Hugs.

Well, I went to the doctor today and I will be going in for surgery this Thursday. They are going to remove the cyst and look to make sure it is nothing more serious. I am a little nervous  I have never had surgery before and it is happening all so fast. I will let you know how it all goes.
