Oye...pain. We're all understanding of that regardless of whether it is lupus, RA, fibro, undiff, or something else - and when we say "I feel your pain" we mean it....
My favorite non-medication treatment is a long hot bath. LOTS of bubbles. Some oatmeal bath so I don't turn into a flaking mess, a good magazine and a cool (non-alc) drink to sip.
Gentle stretching and yoga can help a little as well - sometimes the only time I CAN stretch is in the bath, when my muscles are warmed through.
