Default Diagnosed in 1995 - New member of this board.

Hi everyone - my name is kathy and I am 45 (for 16 more days). I am currently a SAHM with 4 boys who Thank G*d are all in school.
Their ages are 15, 12, 10 1/2 and 6. I love them more than anything but they wear me out.
I've been looking for a group about Lupus so I can meet some new friends and talk to people who actually know how I feel. My doc usually always says that I look good on the outside but my numbers aren't good on the inside. Hope to get involved with all the psots.

    Hello Kathy -

Just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'm relatively new here as well. There are many here who can relate to the "you look well on the outside" phenomenon, otherwise known as "but you don't look sick to me..."

Hope you find lots of friendship and support here. Have a nice weekend chasing those kids around. I know just how you feel. I have four myself.

    Wishing you well.

    Jana

    Hi Kathy;
Welcome to our family where everyone understands and where you will never be alone.
I know what you mean by the fatigue, especially with four energetic boys. We are here to help you in any way that we can and as much as we can. Once again....welcome!!
    Peace and Blessings

    Hello Kathy,

Welcome to our forum. You are not alone; as many of us feel when we are originally diagnosed.

    Take care,

    Faith
