Tingling in the hands and feet can be a symptom of lupus. Lupus can cause problems in the Central Nervous System (CNS). Tingling in the extremities is usually an indication of a problem in the peripheral nerves in the CNS. Sometimes, this tingling can be the first sign of Shingles (which is also common to Lupus sufferers).
It might be beneficial for you to discuss this with your doctor to determine exactly what the cause is and what type of treatment is available.
