    Default numb feet and hands

    hi,

    Does anybody have tingling and numbness in there feet and hands? I took a walk the other day and my feet were numb by the time i was done. my hands keep falling asleep and are numb and tingle. Is this part of lupus?

    Tingling in the hands and feet can be a symptom of lupus. Lupus can cause problems in the Central Nervous System (CNS). Tingling in the extremities is usually an indication of a problem in the peripheral nerves in the CNS. Sometimes, this tingling can be the first sign of Shingles (which is also common to Lupus sufferers).

    It might be beneficial for you to discuss this with your doctor to determine exactly what the cause is and what type of treatment is available.

    My hands are always tingling. Not numb though.

    You need to get the numb problem seen too immediately. Sometimes the blood clotting problem can cause that. Not sure if it can in the feet, however.
