    Default tests 2 diagnose lupus

    hi everyone my doctor ordered these tests it would help me be prepared 4 my next visit if i knew how the results are suposed 2 be with lupus patients

    cbc
    esr
    crp
    comprehensive metabolic panel
    c3,serum
    c4,serum
    tsh and free t4
    complete urinalysis
    immunoglobulins
    antinuclera antibody with reflex
    rheumatoid factor
    ds-dna
    ena reflex
    thyroid ab

    i have no idea what these tests are for and how they are supose 2 come out

    These are the complete tests that doctors run to determine if you are suffering from an auto-immune disorder. In "Newly Diagnosed", there is a sticky which talks about the criteria for diagnosing Lupus and there is a brief explanation of the tests. Hopefully, that will help you to understand the purpose of the test and what the results can mean.

    i read it and it was helpful i dint kno c3 and c4 were proteins when you were first diagnosed with lupus how often did u go 2 a rheumy? i will probaly go 4 my blood tests 2morrow and the urinalysis
