Default just got back from rheumotologist....

well i had written here a few weeks ago that i had a positive ana - 1:320, homogenous, and my mother had lupus. So yesterday i finally saw the rheumotologist.

He said he would do more bloodwork on me, but didn't expect to find anything - i think bec of my lack of symptoms.... but we'll see what happens...

my question is: when talking to him, i remembered that when i was pregnant 3.5 years ago, i had tested positive for antiphospholipid, so i was put on baby asprin and heparin. but then with my second child i tested negative for antiphospolipid.

so could my positive ana result now just be the antiphospolipid thing again? If antiphospholipid is positive, does that mean lupus?

    thanks,
    lisa
