I just turned the big 3-0 in january. Seemed like my body has started to fall apart since then. Actually it was falling apart before then but turning 30 didnt help. I used to laugh at ppl when they said 30 was such a big deal and so depressing, UNTIL I turned 30, trust me I wasnt laughing lol

I'm 19 as well, and every time I go to certain doctors (heart and skin mostly) I get stared at, too. I sound like an old woman when I talk about how I'm feeling, but I still look really young! grrrrr But yeah, I think I know how you feel, even if I don't actually have Lupus (not sure at this point!).

I'll be 28 in August. I really could care less about how old the folks are in the waiting room. WHat really frustrates me, is the attitude that I've obviously become lazy & lost my will to meet my capabilities, when in REALITY, I push myself to the brink of my capacity, ever single day. It really makes the effort that I put forth, feel invalidated.

i'm 25 and was diagnosed at 17, but had mild problems since I was about 8. I've been through the whole course and am now dealing with the transplant, and steroid long-term side effects.
