    Default Stress, Fatigue and Lupus

    As we all know stress is bad for us, my mother fell February 13th. I had to spend the nights with her at the hospital, as she had dementia. mother passed March 5th. I found that my exhaustion and stress have made my symptoms worse.

    I'm sharing this so that others may be able to avoid the results. We hired an aide to stay the night with Mother, but only after I fell down the stairs. If you have to care for someone like this, please. Take these words of advice for your own sake, spend the money to hire an aide right away. It's a month now and I'm getting worse instead of better. The situation is scaring me. I'm making appointments with my neurologist and rheumy.

    So take care all

    Oh Nonna;
    I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. You are so right, stress is one of our worst enemies and it can be devastating to our health. I'm sorry that you are not getting better, but I'm glad that you are making appointments to see your doctor. Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Sending you warm hugs!

    I hope you can sort out your problems.
    I too am seeing people about neurological issues.
    and I have been in a flare since my knee replacement 6 months ago.
    I have inflammation that refuses to disperse

    lupus has a lot to answer for.

    I'm doing better, test results are favorable. Did I ever mention that physical therapy and massages work wonders? I have gotten back in the habit of walking a mile as many times a week as I can. Right now my thigh muscles are very tired. Daddy is trying to move from the assisted living to the independent living so I'm co-ordinating different aspects again.

    Hugs and love to all

    Hi Nonna;
    I am so glad to hear that your test results were favorable and that you are walking quite often. Please try not to over do or to take on too much stress, particularly now trying to help your father. Sending {{hugs}} your way and hoping that you continue to improve.
