Hi Pumpkin624
Your elevated ANA may be an indicator that you Lupus is active. Elevated ANA does not cause symptoms, it is one of the indicators of the disease and is found to be positive in most people with Lupus. If the ANA test results are above the normal range, the test is said to be positive. You are probably experiencing other symptoms (those that are making you feel bad) right?
I experienced severe panic attacks on a consistent basis approximately 3 years ago. This disease can cause you to have serious emotional responses and reactions (such as depression, stress, etc.). I always advocate taking care of our emotional health as well as our physical health because the two are intertwined. The one cannot get better without improving the other. Have you discussed this with your doctors? They may refer you to a counselor/therapist who can treat you for your panic attacks. It might be helpful for you to get some help and treatment for the attacks. Please keep us advised and let us know how you are doing.
Peace and Blessings
