I've probably not been paying a lot of attention to diet (Lord knows I should be.) Saysusie, you've made mention before about being careful of any restrictive diets - meaning that balanced nutrition is the key, right? Sort of the food pyramid kind of thing, or the American Heart Association recommended diet? My cholesterol (total) is way too high (243) so I better start paying attention to what I'm putting in my mouth. I know I can't do the vegan thing - not my philosophy (although I admire the discipline, Marycain.) But, I know I can do better. Any inspirational thoughts or good advice on healthy eating is appreciated.
