    Default antibiotic therapy?

    Hi Everyone
Just curious if anyone has tried antibiotic therapy for lupus (Minocin) I think is most commonly used. I am thinking of asking about it - does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with it?
    thanks!

I discussed it with my doctor because I have a lupus/scleroderma overlap and was hunting for a treatment that would help both. It wasn't an option for me because I have multipe antibiotic allergies, including tetracyclines. Have you looked at The Road Back Foundation website - it's just for people on antibiotic therapy - roadback.org

I have no personal experience with this, and I don't think it would be appropriate for me, but my yoga teacher has RA and uses antibiotic therapy to control it. I have no idea what she uses, though.
