    Default Swollen eyelids.

I have never experienced this, but it's EXTREMELY inconvenient and flat out ANNOYING.
My top eye lids are really swollen. So swollen to the point where they are folding in. What could this be a sign of?

I'm definitely going to have lots to talk to my doctor about when I visit him

IS there any sign of a rash on your eyelids? If so, this may be a discoidal rash that is causing you eyelids to be swollen. I agree, speak with your doctor soon and please let us know how you are and what you and your doctor decide.

I have 2 issues that happen irregularly that cause one or both of my eyelids to swell. The first is allergies. They can get that severe. The over the counter Zyrtec D seems to help me the best and after 24 hours I'm better. The other issue is Sjogrens Syndrome. If I get upset emotionally the night before I will often wake up with swollen eyelids, or if my eyes are particularly dry they will swell and I'll get conjunctivitis from the Sjogrens. I have a prescribed steroid drop that works wonders on making that issue feel better quickly.

Either way I sure hope your doc was able to help figure out your concern. Please stop in and let us know how you're doing.
