    Default Zoo Time

My daughter flew down to see me this last weekend. We went to the zoo. The baby who is just a little over one year old loves animals. It was a lot of fun. I suffered though from the walking and had to take pain pills went I got home, but it was worth the pain. I was a nice break from my daily routine.

I am glad that you had a nice time with your daughter and grandchild. Yes, indeed, sometimes the after effects are well worth it! LOL

I love going to the zoo with my grand kids. This last time though, my son got me a wheelchair, he pushed and the boys took turns riding on my lap. Sometimes they were both there, that was a nice coddled time for me. I'll be sorry when they outgrow the zoo.

Hi Nonna, I'm 40 and I still haven't outgrown the zoo LOL it's one of my favorite places to visit. I usually get a yearly pass. Come to think of it though I haven't been there in two years. I wonder how I would feel ? HMMM

Brookfield or Lincoln Park. I loved Brookfield when I lived there.

That's like asking Cubs or White Socks! lol

I have been going to Brookfield zoo since I was a baby and I'll be 53 next month.
And of course all 5 of my kids and 2 grandkids regularly go.
My wife grew up in Bridgeport so she always went to Lincoln Park but I got her switched over.
But we still go to Lincoln Park at least once a year.
