    Default Allergy Shots

Well I go in for my first allergy shot Wednesday. It has been a long time coming. I am allergic to cats, dogs, dust mites, household dust, etc. I had shots several years ago for pollen, grasses, and molds. Not much of reaction to these things now, thank goodness. The allergies just keep changing from one thing to another. I was told this is very common, not unusual. I hope I get some relief soon, as the nasal stuffiness, and dryness is annoying.

Went to the allergist yesterday for my first allergy shot. It's a combo shot with several grasses, trees, cat and dog dander in it. I don't know if this is just a placebo effect, but I feel better already. My nose doesn't seem to be as plugged up as usual, although my eyes were burning like heck after the shot last night. I will be going in once a week for two years for shots. It is a long term commitment, but I feel it will be worth it.
