    Default First Benlysta infusion

I had my first infusion on Wednesday. I haven't really been able to notice any change yet, but also haven't had any ill effects. I started a flare a week ago, so I already felt pretty icky and achy anyway. I slept most of the rest of the day.

i was talking to a teenager who is taking benlysta ......
her understanding is it can take months for any effect to be noticed.
please be patient, and dont expect too much too soon.

there is a teens facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/555581124518918/
she speaks about it on there.

Thanks. I just saw this. I'll have to check it out. My rheumy wants to give it six months. I just had my third dose on Tuesday. My loading doses kept being postponed because of infections.Waiting to see what happens.

I did Benlysta for about a year, I didn't work out for me but my biggest side effects were weight gain and I would be very sleepy for the next couple of days. Hope you do well on it.
