    Default New back issues.

So I have been experiencing a new kind of pain.
I have really bad spine/back pains and randomly the pain will radiate down towards my butt/leg.

I have never had this happen before. It scares me because my mom has had spinal issues in the past and she ended up needing surgery to fix it.

I guess I should add in here that my doctor (pediatrician when I used to see her still, so a few years ago) said that my spine had a scoliosis curve. Could it have gotten worse even though i'm not really growing in height anymore? Can you get arthritis in your spine? Ugh i'm just so confused and definitely concerned.

Yes you can get arthritis in your back. I get similar pain, also have a curve in my lower spine knocking my pelvis out of whack. You're best bet is to see an orthopedist.

a little trick to find out where the problem is ....
    l3 is to the knee
    l4 is too the floor.

    inflammation can cause spine pain,
    so can your scoliosis,
    please see a doctor.
    it may be nothing,
but as a fellow back sufferer, it is nothing to ignore
