I'm a mother of four and I know they need me I feel myself getting more and more down I just don't know what to do. Does anyone feel the same way

    hi ruth, and welcome.
none of us here are doctors, and unfortunately lupus has a habit of treating all of us as individuals ....
    we all have different symptoms.
or where the symptom is the same .... the reason for it, can be different

for me, i have what i call a "chemical imbalance"
to fix this imbalance i need medication
the medication i need is depression medication.
i am not depressed, but my moods may be low.
without this medication, i cannot function anywhere as good as i can with it.

unfortunately there is a couple of symptoms that are common with lupus.....
two of them are poor sleeping and poor moods.
medication can help to balance these out.
so if it was me, i would be talking to my doctor.

each of us is different, so what works for one, may or may not work for the next person.
that is why there are so many different types of medications in some categories.
depression medication is one example ... there is literally dozens of types, and then lots of strengths as well.
When you're stressed, You eat Ice cream, Cake, Chocolate & Sweets. Why? Because stressed spelled backwards is DESSERTS.
