    Default Happy and excited.

In a few hours we are flying to Dallas to see the kids and grandkids, yay.
We only get to see them once a year, but we always make it count.
Since I had to stop MTX, almost 4 weeks ago, I am in alot of pain and I am a little worried about the flight, because I have so much pain in my buttocks ( tendons).
The rheumy told me, when in Dallas, that I could start a two week medrol regimen, tapering as he told me. This is good for me, because when I start the medrol, it helps me the next day and two days later, I am pain free. At least I have that option, if I need it.
Getting ready for the trip. BIG SMILE.

I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).

    Thank you guys.
It was a great 8 days, we had so much fun.
Of course, saying good bye was very hard, everybody cried. I just want to live close to them and see them at least once or twice a week.
On a lighter note, after we landed, I found out, that my rheumy was on my plane and he recognized me. Small world.

So very glad the trip went well! So sorry you have to live so far away.I can't even imagine how hard it is on you.

Glad you made it home safely. Funny about the doc. Life is bizarre!
