    Default A very positive experience

    Hi all
I had my first appointment with a rheumy today today and he confirmed the diagnosis made by my Dermatologist and nephrologist of Lupus and Sjogrens. Now this may not seem very positive but he was most reassuring and so confident that it could be managed that I left feeling as though a weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
I am seeing him again when I have had the kidney biopsy and then we work know if my kidney problems are caused by lupus or simply 'wear and tear'.
I have been very very lucky with my doctors but I think that reading everybody else's post has enabled me to ask the right questions and supply the correct information.
    Thanks for the support!

I am so glad that you had a positive experience with your doctor. Many of us are not so lucky. This is such excellent news because having a doctor who cares, who wants to make you feel better, and who is dedicated to helping you is a major plus in managing this disease. I am very happy for you! I wish you the very best.

    Peace and Blessings
