    Default The Graduate

My daughter is officily a High School Graduate! She graduated number 6 in her class and will be headed to Texas State University in the fall with the first year completely paid for! It is has been a long and stressful few months but I am one proud mom so I had to share the news!

also, any of you that remember me talking about her friend Dylan, the young man with brain cancer who also had to undergo a stem cell transplant over the last few years, he graduated as well! Since he graduated a year after his actual class he did not officially rank but he ended with over a 4.0 and was honorary valedictorian! His first year at the Jr College close to home is also paid for! It was a great night!

I can see you gleeming, proud mom. Congratulations to your daughter, she did great.
Glad to hear the young man also graduated.

I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).
