I'm new to this forum.
My wife has just been diagnosed with SLE .
Which is very distressing from what we were told from the Specialist .
We are trying to be very positive and learning the best wayS of dealing with this SLE.
Hi, welcome to WHL, first let me say that I am 65 years old and have unknowing lived with Lupus SLE for the majority of my life. I had 2 children and worked up until April of this year. I retired. I want you to know that with the right meds and a healthy lifestyle. Life can be good. Flares come and go and are something to which we adapt. We make certain changes in our lives. But for the most part we go on and live our lives. Relax and try and find a local support group, being with others and hearing their stories does help.
Hugs and Good Thoughts for you both
