    Default Hello

Hello my name is Sarah i am 35 and I was diagnosed with sle 17 years ago when my first child was about a year old.I have been on prednisone for the whole 17 years amongst other drugs.I have also been having rituximab and cyclophosamide infusions every 6 months for about 7 years now.
I have had various problems over the years with a few hospital stays because of the lupus.I am lucky to have a great supportive partner who I have been with for 19 years and a brilliant rheumatologist.
I will be nice to talk to people who know exactly what it is like to live with lupus, and to know I can ask questions if I need to.

Hi mum-2 and welcome to the WHL forum. Sorry no one greeted you sooner. I don't have to go through all that you do for my lupus, but I do get monthly IVIG infusions, which takes 2 1/2 hours at a minimum, and then, since they use benadryl stuff, it basically does the day in for me...
