Default Financial side effects of having chronic health conditions

Has anyone here attempted a credit clean up with all of the medical bills that tend to pile up over time?

Pffft, that made me laugh. Lupus has financial destroyed my mothers credit and mine. I can't even attempt to make a dent in the bills I have. I just make the minimal payment and just make sure to pay my doctors and pharmacy bills. The hospital bills I think right now are like 15 grand or so, i'm not sure anymore. But I don't use credit cards so thats good.
