moving has now put me back on the frustration level of being told that i do not have lupus because my bloods are stable. new clinic won,t accept my lupus specialist reports and bloods that confirm i have it so i am so angry to have to go through this again. so for time being i am going to let gp look after me. hope eveyone alright luv and hugs kim.
So sorry to hear of your frustration. It doesn't seem fair that we have to constantly prove we are sick.
Big Hugs my friend
A smart rheumy would have not done that.
My second rheumy told me from day one, that we don't have to repeat certain bloodtests, because we already know, that I have Lupus. Just because the levels are stable at the moment, doesn't mean that you are either " cured" or that you never had Lupus in the first place.
Some doctors are just egotitistical idiots.
I am sorry, that you have to through that.
I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).
My thoughts EXACTLY Debbie! I have been through the whole "Blood Work Ups and Downs" as well. Any dr relying on blood work alone or all the time is an IRRATIONAL dr. My GOOD drs have even TOLD me THAT! Even my RA has shown up at times in blood work and not at others! Doesnt mean i dont have it! My RA nodules all over my body and MRI results STILL would have the IRRATIONAL drs (i kick them to the curb!) doubting it! Unbelievable isnt it! Ya just gotta find the GOOD ones in the sea of BAD ones!
We Live in a MORTAL, FRAIL, IMPERFECT world in which the word "FAIR" doesn't always apply.Make EVERY MOMENT COUNT with the ones you LOVE because it can end in the blink of an eye. Love, Jeannette
