Default Do you suffer from blurry vision and mood swings?

    Hey everyone!
I have officially been diagnosed after seeing many different doctors and rheumatologist..
However I want to know if anyone else suffers from mood swings really bad! One minute I can be fine and then bam something sets me off and I get angry over stupid pointless stuff!
I know it might sound silly and unrelated however a man my mum works with said he had the same! Because he also suffers!
Also if I get really run down or tired I get really blurred out vision.. I don't know if this is related either but I'm not sure!
I don't know if I sound silly even asking these things I feel so confused with the whole thing!
I have to wait to go see someone to get these answers and I can't get in for a month!
Thank you for your help xx

    hi gemma,

welcome to a very active support network.
i am not sure about the blured vision........ but the mood swings.

    yes it is common.
what i know about myself... and a few friends here i have spoken to.........

our ability to control our emotions becomes decreased.
actually our emotions are also decreased.
all we have left is the extremes.
    extreme happiness or extreme anger.
our emotions switch on and off without us being able to control them properly.
we spend most of our life without any emotions.

this is just me and a couple of friends.......
but it may help you understand what is happenning to you.

Add to that some of the meds we take (like steroids) and it gets worse. I take meds to counteract my meds! Lol

I have to say "yes" to these, but I think it's more a function of being a hormonal middle-aged woman than the lupus.... :-p

helping each other is what we do.
i am glad we are able to help you.

it is only by helping each other that we take the time truely understand our own issues.
so by helping you ....... i also help me.

Hi. I have just made my first post on here and after saw your post. On occasion i wake with blurred vision that goes off as the morning progresses. Not linked to eyesight. I do get irritable some days for no apparent reason but poor sleep does not help.
