I have done Celexa,Topamax and Tramadol.
It did not stop the migraines. I weeded out the Celexa and went up on the Topomax. Still nothing except forgot where I was driving and had electric zap like sensations at night. This was on maybe 1 tramadol 50mg a day not steady pain control type dose.
I eventually weaned myself from the Topomax as the zaps got worse, headaches no better even without the tramadol.
During the time I also had to have a lumbar puncture to rule out MS,a brain MRI to check for lesions(that sucked with a migraine I threw up in the parking lot)a nerve conduction because my legs didnt work right and this was before the meds. I finally got the migraines under control with Ambien as mine worsen with loss of sleep and I got in a vicious cycle. WHO can sleep well when you go to bed with and wake up with a headache that makes you feel like your brain is a bad melon.
If you have any other questions that I can offer experience on I will.
Hope you find what you are looking for and are able to get the headaches under control.
