I wasn't when I wore the hat. It isn't only about being disabled it is about being ill and being able to work. Will give you more info when I am at home. You CAN wear a hat at work!!

You might want to look into the better business bureau and see if there is anything that can be done.
See, it is different here, my main manager is awesome, he gives me every wednesday off, so that I can take my MTX shot on tuesday night. The corporate office can't know about it, because we have to be available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week and if you are not, you have to find another job. Even doctors notes will not make a difference, because they say " anybody can get a doctors note, for just about anything." They don't want to make any exceptions, because other people might take advantage of it.
So, unless I have it in writing, that I am disabled, there is nothing I can do.
Believe me, if I wasn't making good money, $25.00 an hour and all the benefits you can imagine, I would not work there.
To be honest, I would feel funny, wearing a hat in the store, sitting at my register. But I have tried the sun block and if that doesn't help, I will call the doctor and see, if it might be something else.

I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).

WHAT kind of grocery store are you working at?! I want your job!
Anyway there are really cute hats that you could wear that won't be completely out of place inside.

Right this minute, I have angry red, hot ears. They are throbbing and itching. It actually feels like sunburn. I had my hair behind my ears, but was sitting by a "Sunbox" I use for seasonal depression. The lights in the room where my computer is, has those little curly lights also. Are the curly lights florescent? And could they be causing it?
