    Default Finally Insured!

After almost 3 years I am FINALLY insured again! My Medicare became effective today so I ask that everyone does a happy dance with me!

Even though I hurt from head to toe from painting a deck by myself yesterday, for you, my dear, I am most definitely happy dancing! Congrats!!

Insurance coverage is like the *&%^$^%#$ drugs we have to take - a pain in the rump, makes you sick to your stomach to deal with, and causes us problems sometimes, but IT'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE! :-P

Glad you have that one worry off your mind now!!!!

I did a "happy dance" for you Mari, but I think I did it in a different thread the other day... hmmm... anyway, my feet hurt... lol

Congrats on being insured, Mari!! I know how thankful and lucky I am/feel, especially after being diagnosed with SLE, that I'm fortunate enough to have stellar health insurance coverage. Is this the first time you've had coverage since being diagnosed? If not, did you have a difficult time being approved for new coverage and how long did the process take? I apologize for asking such personal questions in a 'thread' but I'm curious about the affect having Lupus has on our ability to maintain/obtain health insurance.
Again, CONGRATS on your wonderful news!!
    Aloha!

    Chelle
