    Default 3rd rhuemy....feeling reaally good...3 times a charm?

So if anyone read my long update the other day, I was very depressed and discouraged. I called and pcp and she actually ordered a nother ana test (titer), sed rate and c reactor. I will have those done wed. I also asked her if she can send me for a 2nd opinion (really a third but the first was many yrs ago, before I had any outward symptoms. So she just bluntly asked me who I wanted to see. I didn't want to drive to boston but after some online searching I found brigham and womans hospital to be ranked number 5 in the country in rhunetology and figured that's good odds I called and spoke with a nurse and explained a bit of my history, my frustration etc and she gave me 3 docs who specialize in lupus patients with antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. That was even better odds! So on oct 23rd ill make the trek to boston and I'm sooooo hoping and praying ill finally get someone who LISTENS, READS SYMPTOM LISTS,LOOKS AT PICS ect. I don't want to get my hope up, but I can't help it! Wish me luck!!!

Anyone have any experience with brigham and womens?

    Deemarie,
I second what Steve said. Your PCP is wonderful to help you out. I hope that the rheumy is a great one.
Your appointment is on my anniversary. I'll be thinking about you that day.
    Hugs,
    Marla
