    Smile hello there!

Hello. I'm 38yrs old and just diagnosed with Lupus. I've had symptoms of it my entire life and have just now found a doctor willing to listen to me closely enough to make a correct diagnosis. I also suffer from multiple other chronic illnesses. I'm currently undergoing more testing for a possible pituitary gland tumor. I hope to find support and understanding here for something I've dealt with for years but am just now having light shed on it. Thanks.

What testing have you had done concerning the pituitary gland? I'll have to ask my sister-in-law where she went for hers...

    hi gingergirl.

one of the things many of us realise is .......
we now have a reason for so many little problems.

having an immune system in overdrive can cause many many different medical issues.
everytime you see a medical practioner, let them know you have confirmed immune system problems.

it can dramatically change the way some simple things need to be approached.

an example of this is i had a shattered toe.
it would usually be repaired by pinning.
but because of my imune system problems......
pinning it would lead to a dramatically increased risk of bone infection.....
so another form of repair had to be found.

i usually do not bring this up to new people......
but as you are undergoing other tests...
i believe it to be very important.

    by the way welcome
