    Default Hello from Western Australia

    Hi!

My name is Pamela, i am 27 and i was diagnosed with Lupus 8 years ago but after being in the dark all this time i need to learn more and try to manage my conditions on a daily basis. i wrote a long story on my background but im not sure if it is ok to post in a hello thread!

i would love some advice or to hear from others who have busy lives (i have a full time job where i am away from home for 11 hours a day and 4 year old son who constantly keeps me on my toes!) while trying to manage fatigue and muscle, joint and bone pain.

Looking forward to trying to get on top of this disease and finally being able to talk to others who know what im going through (and that im not just lazy and weak!)

    Hello Pamela,

Welcome to WHL! You can post as long of a story as you would like. No problem at all.

    Make yourself at home,

    Rob

    hi pamela,
there is about a dozen other sand groppers who are active here.

please read a few of the older posts.....
they are our personal experiences with lupus.

at the top of each section are some "stickies".
    they contain very useful information.
they are usually a good place to start your reading.

Hello and welcome to our family. You may post threads of any length, someone will always read and respond to you. Please feel free to participate in any conversation or start one of your own. As Steve mentioned, peruse the "stickys" as they are filled with valuable information. I am glad that you are here
