    Hi Ssparks,

I understand how you feel. I get the rash on the front of my thighs, and it burns something awful. One trick I've learned is to put a cool wet washcloth on the area. It seems to calm it down a little, and does give some immediate, if only temporary relief. Try your best not to scratch, as it tends to make it worse.

Welcome, Stacy! I'm fairly new as well, although I'm still waiting for a firm diagnosis. I don't have the traditional Lupus rash, but I do have dermagraphia. The itching can be nerve racking! I bet that Prednisone is going to help pretty quickly. Good luck, and I'm glad you have found this site. It has helped me a great deal.
